The Legend Of Zelda for the nintendo entertainment system (A.K.A NES) was not only the first zelda game ever made but was also the first epic adventure video game ever made. the epic nature of the legend of zelda was also combined with the great gameplay which made it an instant hit. Made by Shigero Miyamoto and published in 1987. it sold about 30 million copies when it came out! (alright i'll admit it, I was over exagurating)
